Polyhedra

These pages present an extensive survey of the mathematical shapes known as Polyhedra, based on my own collection and with some gaps filled by the (pre-2016) Science Museum in London. There is some cross-over with Origami – the Japanese art of folding paper – but if Origami is what you really want, click there. On the other hand, although I love Origami my real obsession is Polyhedra, so I do hope you stay here!

We’ll start with the Uniform Polyhedra – which by my calculation runs to 81 items – and then we’ll move on to the vast collection of ideas and opportunities which make up ‘the rest’. The best way to navigate the collection is simply to  Click Here  and then follow the links on the pages which will take you through the entire tour – but if you want to dip into particular topics just click on the links below.
